You can see by clicking on the Supporting Links that many State Legislators are opposing this push to vaccinate our young women. Many physicians are speaking out against it. Many of the vaccine researchers themselves are very concerned.

We cannot allow Merck to use our City Council to turn our children into guinea pigs so they reap a massive profit to payback the damages they face because of the Vioxx scandal.

Make your Voice Heard... Contact the Council Today! Use the email tool below or pick up your phone and let them know you want this bill amended... The Commitee is suggesting these amendments:

1. This should be an OPTIONAL vaccination program, not an OPT-OUT program, because OPT-OUT is essentially Mandatory here in the District.
   
   
2. Like our neighbors in Maryland, the District should empower a Taskforce to investigate Merck and the efficacy of their drug Gardisil before testing it on our children.
